Last weekend my brother and I stayed in Kipper Cottage. I've stayed in many AirB&Bs over the past 10+ years, all have been lovely but Kipper Cottage is by far the best, - not the largest, but the best. Beautifully decorated and an awesome kitchen with every piece of equipment anyone could want! The garden is delightful and we even managed to have tea outside one afternoon. I can't wait for my next stay in Kipper Cottage; I'd actually like to live there.

Beautiful home from home cottage. Michelle has thought of all the little things that make such a difference when you are renting somewhere. There was milk in the fridge, coffee pods for the machine, tablets for the dishwasher etc. etc. The cottage is spotless, the beds are to die for. The location is great and parking is easy. Will be back for a 3rd stay at some point.

Firstly the welcome gift of wine & biscuits a lovely thought . Had the most outstanding week & the walk to the beach was second to none. Mostly stayed withing the area as it was ideal & could happily feel at home at the cottage with the books etc . Great that it's got a doggy towel . The only thing was my little senior doggy of 17 years young struggled with getting in/out of the conservatory to the garden cos she only got little legs but we just helped her which was fine .

This is a beautiful house, nothing was too much trouble for Michelle, the beach is literally 2 minutes walk away, the house is pristine a real home from home, additionally the bed was sooooo comfortable, that comfortable i checked the name of the mattress topper and now purchased one for my own bed 🥰 There is absolutely everything you need in this house to make your stay perfect. If you book this little gem you will not be disappointed

We couldn't fault Kipper Cottage. We were visiting friends and had friends visit us. It was home from home where we felt totally as ease. it was lovely to be so close to the beach and sea.

Beautiful cottage. Less than 2 minute walk to a dog friendly beach. Kipper cottage is a lovely, cozy place to stay. So much to do on the doorstep. Great base for exploring the joys of Suffolk. Enjoyed everything about it and would highly recommend. Would definitely visit again, felt very sad to leave today. Thank you Michelle

Lovely cosy place. Round the corner from lovely pubs, chip shop and the beach. Easily walkable to Lowestoft beach as well. Had a lovely time enjoying the warmth of the conservatory before heading out and about.

We had a wonderful stay at Kipper Cottage. Michelle’s place is very welcoming and homely, it is the perfect place to stay for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. The house is well equipped and in a great location for walks on the dog friendly beach and a great base for sight seeing.

Very nice and clean house. It was really cozy, providing everything needed for a stay with a small child. The house is well-equipped, featuring everything from kitchen furnishings to a washing machine. We really loved the beautiful garden. Thanks, Michele, for this wonderful experience

This was one of the best equipped apartments we have ever stayed in! Michele was very friendly and easy to communicate with. The house itself is in a great location, near to the beach, in a quiet and safe neigbourhood and easy to walk to the pier and centre of Lowestoft. Beds were comfy, garden and all rooms thoughtfully fitted so that one could feel home away from home. Would definitely recommend this place!!

A real home from home. The property had EVERYTHING you could possibly need for a hassle free stay, from hairdryers to extension cables. The kitchen was really well stocked with all of the pots and pans you could need. It was great that the cupboards were thoughtfully stocked with 'bits and bobs' such as oil and tomato sauce. Everything you could need to get you going before doing your own shop. The welcome 'pack' was really thoughtful and gratefully received. The property was spotlessly clean and both myself and husband felt 'at home' as soon as we stepped through the door. Kipper Cottage has such a lovely feel about it. Michele was a brilliant host and was very proactive with communication, and responded very quickly to my messages. Kipper Cottage is in a great location, with the beach a 5 minute walk away. We can also recommend the Jolly Sailor for food (less than 5 min walk from the property, overlooking the beach). Would highly recommend, and would definitely use again.

This was one of the cosiest and most thoughtfully equipped places we’ve ever stayed in! Michele has done above and beyond to attend to every need possible. The garden was also lovely - neat and pretty. We were here to visit family in Lowestoft and hope very much to return again.

Michele’s place was fantastic. We had everything we needed for travelling with two small children. Michele went above and beyond to make sure we had a travel cot, stair gate etc. There was milk and some store cupboard essentials at the house which were very helpful. Michele was quick to communicate and accessing the house was very easy. The location was great, only a couple of mins on foot to the beach and other local shops and pubs nearby. We’d love to stay again.

Brilliant place to stay. We stayed as 2 adults and 2 children over Christmas. It was perfect, couldn't have asked for any more. Michele has to thought of everything in this place and it felt really homely. Would recommend and will likely stay again in the future.

We enjoyed a lovely few days at Kipper Cottage over half term with our two girls aged 7 and 4. Perfect for families with lots to do in the area. The beach is literally a 5 minute walk away and well worth heading to for sunrise. There are lovely pubs, takeaway places and a co-op all within walking distance. The cottage itself was cosy and well equipped with plenty of space. Michele was a wonderful host and always extremely responsive. Can’t recommend the place enough!

Kipper Cottage is a beautiful place to stay. Spotlessly clean. Extremely well equipped. Great location, literally 2 minutes to the sea and a great pub which serves lovely food and breakfast. We walked all the way into Lowestoft along the sea path and also went on a river cruise on the broads. I definitely recommend staying at Kipper Cottage. Michele was extremely communicative as host and gave us some great local recommendations.

Kipper Cottage is a lovely place, clean and well maintained. We have just had a week's stay and we could not fault this property in any way. A lovely quiet location, so close to Pakefield beach and a 15 mins walk into Lowestoft itself. There are pubs, a fish and chip shop and a co-op within easy walking distance. Michelle is a fabulous host, very helpful and communicative both prior and during our stay. Julie (her caretaker) was amazing and helped out with an issue and got it sorted. Highly recommend and we hope to be back again soon - 5/5.

Kipper Cottage is lovely and the perfect base for a stay in Pakefield. The cottage had everything you could need. It was beautifully decorated and spotleslsly clean.

We felt at home straight away. Everything was very clean, and Michele had thought of everything that we might need. It was lovely to have the conservatory to sit in as well. We loved the fact that we were only a few minutes walk from the beach and local pubs, take always and shops. We will definitely like to stay again. Thank you.

Kipper Cottage was homely and welcoming. Very clean with lovely and thoughtful decor. Close to a beach that allowed dogs, and just a few minutes walk to sandy (more child-friendly) beaches, beside the pier with arcades and entertainment etc. Good location to visit the local towns such as Aldeburgh and Southwold. We had our 4 month baby and dog. Michelle offered a high chair, stair gate and travel cot, which was so handy and helpful. Lovely stay - thank you!

Wonderful stay at a perfect home from home. Everything was provided including a high chair, stair gate and travel cot. Clean, tidy and beautifully decorated with a lovely enclosed garden for our little dog. Few mins walk to the beach, pubs and shops. Plenty to see and do. Hope to return some day.

Wonderful, two bedroomed house which matches the description. Secure garden for the dog/small children. Well equipped kitchen if you need it, as there are good pubs for eating out, great chip shop and chinese as well. Excellent beach, yes, two minutes walk, with sand. Lots to do and see with easy driving distance. Definitely a place to come back to.

For anyone looking for a coastal break with all the comforts of home, don't hesitate. Extremely well-equipped, nicely decorated and very comfortable. A stone's throw from Pakefield beach (which is mainly pebble), but 15-20 mins walk from South Beach in Lowestoft which is beautiful and sandy. Great location, and the host is very responsive and easy to deal with. Highly recommended!

A comfortable, peaceful and well designed cottage. It is very close to Pakefield beach-five minutes away-and the area is really unspoiled. I loved the birds-swifts were about-and the wild flowers on the sea front. Very peaceful and quiet. Lots of coastal paths and other beaches to walk to.

What a fabulous find for our short break to visit family in Lowestoft. Kipper Cottage was beautifully finished, spotlessly clean and had everything you need for a holiday. Just 2 minutes walk from the beach, we wandered to Lowestoft in the spring sunshine. Communication with Michele, the host, was top notch from the get go and a bottle of wine and biscuits were a really nice touch. We will definitely book Kipper Cottage for our next visit.

What an absolutely fantastic first Airbnb experience for us! We have family in Pakefield and needed somewhere to stay for the xmas break - Michele's was a brilliant find and we're so pleased with it. Location is great - you're a 5 min walk from the beach, 10 mins from the seafront arcade, and 5 mins drive from an Aldi, Greggs, Subway, McDonald's and 24 hour gym. The house is wonderfully presented - very clean, clean towels, everything neat and tidy, just perfect. And then, so many little thoughtful things that show she's been to several places that perhaps didn't do the same; for example there was detergent and dishwasher tablets for the washing machine and dishwasher, there's a smart TV with Netflix already available, hand soaps, WiFi, coffee, a very well stocked kitchen and even a stair gate (for those of you with pets/children). Having a garden for pets/kids is also super handy; the garden has side access to an alley which takes you to the road, so wet kids/dogs can be taken straight round the back. The information folder provided is also very thorough too. Check in is super easy, and Michele's great at responding to any questions. We all loved it (especially the kids) and would highly recommend it to anyone. Thanks Michele!

Wow what a beautiful little house! Tastefully furnished and extremely well equipped. On a quiet road with easy parking and very close to the beach and a local eatery The Jolly Sailor (which was excellent). Other eateries are available. If we are wanting to go to the area again we will definitely be booking Kipper Cottage.

Super clean and well appointed house. A well equipped kitchen with plenty of crockery and cutlery and a nice dining area. Comfortable seating in the lounge too. Bed was comfortable and the shower has good pressure. Easy on street parking. Three minute walk to the sea with lovely walks on the beach .

We had a fantastic stay at Kipper Cottage. It’s a fabulous place with a lovely, lovely garden. We couldn’t have asked for more. So close to the beach, in a quiet road, with easy parking right outside. Beautifully furnished and decorated. Spotlessly clean, and very well equipped, also including a washing machine and dishwasher. A true home from home. I want to live there!! We will definitely be returning

Kipper Cottage satisfied our needs in every way. A stone's throw from the beach and local eatery, so well equipped and nice to eat off china, every cooking tool you could think of. The colour scheme and furnishings were so attractive and plenty of room for 4 adults. We would highly recommend.

We had a great week in Michele's lovely house by the sea. The location was great, 2 minutes walk to the beach and 10 minutes or so to Lowestoft. The house was immaculate and very well presented. The conservatory was a bonus too. Michele's handbook is very detailed for places to eat and visit. We enjoyed The Third Crossing, Sunrise at Zak's cafe, the Jolly Sailors, Pakefield beach, quaint Southwold and, my favourite, Covehithe beach. Also went to the circus one evening and to watch local speed boat races (Thursday nights in August). I recommend water shoes for the pebbles (mixed sand/pebble beaches)!

Just returned from a wonderful week here. Kipper cottage is a delightful refuge from the real world. Felt relaxed and at home from the minute we walked in. Mitty has done a brilliant job turning it into your own home away from home . It is a 2 minute walk from The Jolly Sailor, which is the closest of the six pubs in Pakefield. Most do food, the furthest is a 15 minute walk. So no need to venture far of an evening. We also enjoyed The Oddfellows , where we ate in the bar and restaurant. Good value for money in all of them. Can’t wait to go back again. Would definitely recommend Pakefield, if you want peace and lovely walks, and you couldn’t find a better place to enjoy it from than Kipper Cottage

We had the pleasure of staying in Kipper Cottage for a week in June 2021. The cottage is beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay. We had admired the cottage in the photos when we booked and weren’t disappointed as we found it was even better than it looked online.
Pakefield has a beautiful beach and we would also recommend a trip to the Ferini Gallery which is just round the corner and sells lots of lovely art works produced by local artists at very affordable prices.
Michele was the perfect host and we have no hesitation in recommending her cottage for anyone wanting to explore the beautiful county of Suffolk.

Lovely Kipper Cottage is very well situated to explore this part of the Suffolk coast and Broads. Easy walking distance to pubs, shops and restaurants and the beach. The cottage was exceptionally spotlessly clean and well equipped. Comfy kingsize bed (we didn't use the others) and furniture. Michele is a brilliant host; she is excellent at communicating; answering questions very rapidly with a great sense of humour. We will certainly rebook if we go to that part of Suffolk again. Thank you Michele.

We were the first to stay in this lovely house. It was very well presented, freshly decorated, clean and amazingly equiped. Great back garden for sitting in the sun or for kids to play safely. Super location so close to Lowestoft town, supermarkets, the beach (2 mins) and the A12 for the rest of Suffolk. 10 out of 10.
